Joe Martino
Joe lives in Grand Rapids Michigan. G-rap as some of his friends are fond of calling it is one of the coolest places he has lived with beautiful summers and picturesque winters. He is in Graduate School pursuing a Masters in Counseling. He lives in covenant community at Mars Hill Bible Church with his wife (who is up for Sainthood because she willingly married him) and three fabulous daughters. Joe is a Graduate of Baptist Bible College in Pa. where he was heavily involved in Drama and frenetic in his pursuit of a better understanding the Calvinistic, Reformed Baptist Tradition. Joe is also an ordained SBC minister. He has been in “vocational ministry” for over 10 years serving at a few Christian Schools and pastoring three churches. Joe has been a coach of many different sports, including women’s soccer, baseball, and basketball. He also has umpired for many years.
He loves discussion with a cold beverage and good friends. He is passionate about the New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Steelers, Penn State Football and North Carolina Basketball. He is madly in love with his family. He has been blogging for almost five years. Joe also contributes to a site called Relevantchristian. Most of those labels are very wrong, which brings no end of amusement to Joe’s life.
