I believe unabashedly that this post was pre-ordained. Any other view is heresy!
What I want to know is why does this post reject PSA?
Haven’t you learned anything from the 80’s?
New Post will fail miserably… People like the less sweet taste of the original formula Old Post. I predict a Post Classic in a few days…
This post seems to deny the Left Behind series.
I can’t wait until Chris P comes in and tells us we are all anti-christs for commenting on this post.
This post is NOT about whether or not Genesis 1 is literal.
This post IS about whether Genesis 2 is literal.
And both.
And neither.
Mary’s real name was Miriam.
I believe the 24 hour creation day is an affront to God’s power by suggesting it took Him that long.
I don’t believe the “left behind series” is literal
I don’t believe Tim LaHaye and Jerry B Jenkins are literal.
Jerry, I posted a comment on the other thread that addresses the actual OP…
Actually, I’m a right behind man.
Jerry, I am amazed that you would write this post. Are you having a bad day?? By the comments on this post I see you guys are apostates and heretics and are all in danger of going to h**l .Of course not you Chad. Joe, I refuse to forgive you for saying the left behind series is not literal. Well, gotta go and take out my Michael Jackson doll and do some serious idol worship before I retire for bed. I just hope God doesn’t kill me in my sleep tonight.
I do believe this post unabashedly has overtones of being supportive of 7-point Calvinism. Very well thought out and defended, I just may become a supporter of it as well!
7 point? Wow! Is the acronym for that T.U.L.I.P.P.Y.? Or Too Lippy? Meaning that I think I’m so right I mouth off all the time about how wrong everyone else is.
I’m so disappointed Jerry.
Here I thought you were a Christian, but now you’re written this? C’mon!
Ncgal, how dare you judge whether I can join them or not.
And besides, I hadn’t even commented on this blasphemous post so your inclusion of me is uncalled for.
You would not believe the hate mail I have gotten for this post. I think there’s even a link to it at SOL and AM. If I may be allowed just a moment of defense…
Back before I was a Christian I was involved in a sorts of foolish things. Then one day the Lord took hold of me and said: “I want you to write this post.” Of course, who was I to argue?
Since that day, so many years ago, I have struggled with whether or not to be obedient to my vision and my call. Last night, I finally decided that it was inevitable: So I wrote.
ncgal–I can’t believe how judgmental you are. You don’t know nothing about me. I preach inside a church which is far worse than preaching outside a strip club.
Chris L–you’re the one who didn’t do the proper background checks before you invited me to write here.
Chad–you are invited because this is a universal thread.
Aaron–it wasn’t 7 points; it was…oh wait…yeah, 7; perfect calvinism.
Chris–thank you. You have no idea how wrong everyone else is.
We are the World. We are the children. We are the ones to make a brighter day, so let’s start giving.
This is a post explicitly designed to espouse and reject all theories that are not biblically supported by the Bible and endorsed by internet pastors worldwide.
I bet you were referencing this before it was even posted (24 hours only).
Weren’t you?
“I can’t wait until Chris P comes in and tells us we are all anti-christs for commenting on this post.”
Why should I post the obvious?
Jerry’s so verklempt, he didn’t even give us a topic.
But you miss the point of the post; your Hatred (yes HATRED) for Jerry helps you to miss the point. The point is that… bla bla bla… I am such a wretched sinner… bla bla bla… the rest of you are worse… bla bla bla… this world is going down the drain… bla bla bla… unbelievers are really bad people, worse than me… bla bla bla… sinners should stop sinning…
I, for one, think this is by far the most intelligent, well thought out post anyone has ever written here.
Pastorboy,
I see you have chosen to ignore my comments to you in the MJ thread – pity, I was hoping you would respond… reasonably.

Which comment? The one about Ingrid?
I responded to that. I will not castigate her for a spot on comment about the American media and the American Publics morbid fascination with the death of a celebrity. I only encourage people to continue to share their faith responsibly with as many people as possible. I pray that those children find comfort, but most of all I pray they find Christ.
It seems that everyone here needs a hobby horse, but apparently not everyone here requires an intelligible reason to obsess about it.
Enlighten O’ wise one.
FRUEH’S THEOLOGICAL DICTIONARY
Hobby Horse – derived from the Greek words for Miley Cyrus, Carrie Prejean, Granger Church, Gays, and other topics. This particular steed comes with a legalistic saddle and has usually spit out the redemptive bit.
Jerry,
You are so right…and wise.
This reminds of this post from another wise blogger.
Shalom
I was not wanting you to castigate her. I was wanting you to disagree with her vitiolic poison.
