I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying. And they were calling to one another:
“Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty;
the whole earth is full of his glory.”
At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.
“Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty.”
Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.”
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

I have a part of this blog for about 6 months now and I can say that this is the greatest post I have seen here. Chris L, Thank you for the wonderful entry.
I am a man of unclean lips! I want, by the fire of the Holy Spirit, to speak truth that comes strait from above. “Oh that thou might rend the Heavens!” “Who shall ascend to the hill of the Lord and Who shall stand in his Holy Place” Lord, make my hands clean and my heart pure that through me you may receive all the glory and all the honor!
LORD, MAKE ME WORTH SENDING!
Thank you again Chris!
“In the year that King Uzziah died…” (Isa 6:1a)
Regardless of the circumstances here on earth, God is STILL on the throne calling unclean, unworthy men to “go.”
“calling unclean, unworthy men to “go.””
Amen.
Chris,
Thank you for posting this. I probably could have preached these lyrics this morning and done even better. This song expresses what I am currently learning about my faith. Couple that with Isaiah’s prophecy and Christian faith, Resurrection living, takes on an entirely better meaning than the one I grew up with. Thanks again. God be blessed!

PS-I don’t want to be too self-promoting here, but I am currently exploring and documenting this (my) growth at a new blog I started writing called Advance Signs. I hope you don’t mind the link.
I love this song.
How fitting that it goes with the lesson I am teaching tonight on Suprised by Hope (N.T. Wright’s new book). We are doing chapter 9, “Jesus, The Coming Judge” and that is exactly the point: Jesus as Judge = Jesus as the Remedy.
I am going to open with this video to the class. Anyone know how to download to a CD that can be played on DVD?
Chad – are saying that our Defense Attorney knows the Judge?
Rick – I’d say intimately, even, perichoretically (I just love that word)
Case dismissed!!
Quiet in the airways today….anyone know how to move this video to a CD/DVD?
Rick – something tells me I missed a joke, and I am the butt of it
This site will let convert it to a video format you can download.

If you need further guidance after that email me.
Thanks Tim. Shot you an email just now.
