   Everyone jokes behind closed doors. I found only the “hand gesture” admission by one of the staff to be offensive. Warren seemed to be self depricating and a little embarrassed about the attention.

   Very little doctrinal meat here, move along.

   I agree the main objection seems to be ecumenism, a horse that has been beat long past its death… the farting reference is just a ploy to resurrect it.

   Quite frankly if it is about the “finger gestures” joke or the “armpit fart” joke… to criticize over that is about as stupid of thing I have ever seen.

   If it is about the ecumenism… and the peace plan… I have not read the peace plan… I have read some whack jobs dream of prophecy that states it is all about ushering in the Antichrist… but I doubt the Antichrist will need Rick Warren.

   I just wonder at it all in this grand conspiracy that these guys have developed over Rick Warren as to now think he wants a purpose driven world…

   A world whose sole purpose is to serve and love God through Jesus Christ… hmmm doesn’t sound too bad to me.

    Sorry, I have read the Bible and the last chapter says peace will be obtained. Now, WE will not do it, Jesus will. Yet, that does not get us of the hook, now to be peacemakers and imitate Jesus in bringing peace and justice here to a yet fallen but soon redeemed world. Right? = )

    Please pray for my cousins as there is a fire in Molt Montana and their farm is right in the line of it. They could lose everything including home and livestock.

    Does anyone else find it funny that Rick Warren is held to one standard… yet if you go to Pastorboys blog you will see four videos of the “farting pastor” and one is of a woman preacher which is at least to me rather distasteful. (I admit I liked the original one)
