I bought this book after seeing the review on Brant’s blog. It’s up next on my pile.
My wife started it, but said she thought the overall tone was too critical of the institutional church, so she gave up on it after a few chapters. I told her she should read the entire thing, but she has less time for what she considers BS than me, I guess.
My wife calls it the “suck-o book” — I blogged about it here and here. (sorry for the self-promoting linkage…)
Great interview with Brant. For more information on this book, including reviews, endorsements, sample chapters, and Q and A with one of the authors, go to http://www.paganchristianity.org
