The Buzz apologizes, and reminisces
The Buzz responds to that other blog’s response:
First of all… today, I’d like to make an apology. Yesterday in the buzz, I wrongly said that Rev. Ken Silva wrote a piece over at his CRN website about the Robert Schuler “ReThink†conference. Turns out that it wasn’t indeed Ken that wrote the post; but rather “Editorâ€, who is someone other than Ken. My apologies, Ken. In return for my blunder, Ken managed to get some digs in on me as well. In typical fashion, Ken (or someone writing for Ken) called my workplace (Leadership Network), ‘a group of seeker sensitive new evangelicals who made sure the slumbering American Christian Church would have the neo-liberal cult of the Emergent Church.’ He also managed to call Schuler and Erwin McManus “sinner-sensitive semi-pelagiansâ€, Rupert Murdoch a ‘christian pornographer’ and Rick Warren the “purpose driven popeâ€. Yeah, I remember when I was in third grade. Again, my apologies.

You know, there is something rather nice about the way Ken and friends write; you don’t really ever need to rebut them, just show the world the stupid things they say.

I continue to ask, where is God in what they do? They have reduced God to such a minute level that he is not recognizable. God is so much bigger than any of us can imagine and the ODM are a reason why so many look at our faith in disgust. Of course those people are unsaved and out of God’s will and we shouldn’t seek them according to the ODM’s. Sorry for the straw man approach here but its just my observation……
